That black box mounted to the tail end of the car and is used as a crush member in case of a rear end crash. It may be small but it really works.

No the race tires don't have tread. This is their rain tire. They also use it to roll the car around and mount for chassis set ups. So they always have the same tires on for any chassis chan ...

Fans have access to this balcony in back of the stand to see what's going on in the garages. The glass windows and doors are for hospitality rooms in the garage area.
